Jagnoor Singh became Chief Executive Officer of Practo on September 1, while founder Shashank ND moved from CEO to managing director and executive chairman. The Economic Times reported the leadership reset, and The Hindu BusinessLine described Singh’s move as part of the digital healthcare platform’s next phase.\n\nSingh had been Practo’s chief operating officer since joining in January 2025, after leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, Unacademy and OYO. He will oversee strategy, operations and growth across global markets. Shashank ND will continue to guide vision and product direction while taking responsibility for innovation, capital strategy, corporate development and potential inorganic growth.\n\nSeparating founder vision from operating cadence\n\nPracto says it has grown 40% year on year and remained profitable for the past two and a half years, with expansion in the UAE and United States. The new structure gives the founder a longer-horizon remit while putting daily execution under an operator already familiar with the platform.\n\nThe change adds a founder-transition angle to a healthcare leadership beat that includes Legend Biotech’s appointment of Ingrid Zhang.
